Nepal Student Union, a student wing of the main opposition Nepali Congress, organised a protest outside Singha Durbar, the main administrative building of government, on Friday.
NSU central member Sushil Bhatta said that the protest was organised to express citizens’ dissatisfaction over the range of issues that the government has failed to address thereby bringing down the confidence of public on government.

The protesters released balloons tying black banners with slogans: ‘Justice to Nirmala’, ‘Save Dr KC’, and ‘control corruption’.
The protesters staged the demonstration outside Singha Durbar which was declared as a restricted zone by the government.
