Two people died when a passenger bus hit a motorbike they were riding in Mukundapur of Gaindakot Municipality-13 in East Nawalparasi on Saturday.
A bus owned by Karnali Yatayat bearing registration number plate Na 5 Kha 3987 hit a motorbike (Na 56 Pa 3851), leaving the riders critically injured. Anila Poudel, 20, a resident of Gaindakot-8, and Krishna Sapkota, 19, of Gaindakot-1 died in the accident.
According to Area Police Office Gaindakot, the two were rushed to hospital for treatment after the accident but one of them died on the way to hospital, and another one was declared dead upon reaching the hospital.
