Sindhupalchowk’s Indrawati Rural Municipality-8 ward chairman Dhan Bahadur Shrestha was found dead on Hoste Dovane River on Saturday.

Locals had seen body of chairman Shrestha on the river in Bode Gaun of the district and informed police about it.

Shrestha had not returned his home in Jyamire since leaving at around 3 am. DSP Bimal Raj Karnel at District Police Office said they are investigating the case to confirm the cause behind the death.
