Two persons died and another sustained critical injuries in a tractor accident at Salleri Bazaar of Hilihang Rural Municipality-7 in Panchthar district on Saturday morning.

According to Inspector Bigyan Basnet, the deceased have been identified as Bhupendra Darjee and Kamal Bhattarai of Srijunjg Rural Municipality, Taplejung district.

The incident occurred when the tractor (Me 1 Ta 3406) heading to Phidim of Panchthar from Taplejung district fell some 150 metres down the road this morning.

Samir Sherpa of Santhakra, Taplejung district, who was injured in the incident, is undergoing treatment at the Panchthar District Hospital. RSS
