A security guard was murdered at Machchhebahal of Kathmandu on Sunday night.
The deceased has been identified as Tul Bahadur Tamang of Mawapauwa-2, Dolakha district.
He used to work as a security guard at the East West Securities.
Critically injured after being attacked with a sharp weapon at Machchhebahal, Tamang was rushed to the Trauma Centre where he breathed his last during the course of treatment, police said.
Tamang, who sustained deep cut in his head, died due to excessive bleeding.
Police said that they have started a manhunt to nab the culprits with the help of CCTV footage.
Meanwhile, Dhruba Karki, 50, of Samakoshi-2, Dolakha, died after being hit by a motorbike at Minbhawan last night, police said. RSS
