Brigadier General Gokul Bhandari has been handed over the responsibility of Nepal Army Spokesperson and Director of Directorate of Public Relations and Information (DPR & I) amidst a programme held in Directorate office in the Capital on Wednesday.

Outgoing Spokesperson and Director of DPR & I, Nainraj Dahal, said that he is grateful towards media house, publisher, editors and most importantly the journalists of defence beat, for their support, respect and coordination, during his three-month tenure as the NA spokesman and director of DPR & I.

“We are hopeful that media industry will cooperate to further strengthen and harmonise the relationship between Nepal Army and media sector during the tenure of Brigadier General Bhandari,” read a statement issued by the Nepal Army on Wednesday.
