Speaking at a press conference organised by the Chitwan chapter of Press Centre in Bharatpur Airport on Tuesday, Dahal said that he is preparing to contest the elections from Chitwan-3 as per the discussions held during the meeting of party's candidates selection committee.
Though discussions are underway to choose the party for forming electoral alliance, the decision has not been made yet, the Maoist supremo further said.
“Discussions are underway with all the parties,” he said, adding, “The decision is yet to be taken.”
“We are for winning the elections without forming alliance with any political parties,” he said.
Mainly discussions are underway with Nepali Congress and CPN-UML, he said.
“We have already made a decision to forge an alliance only with democratic republic parties,” the former Prime Minister said.
The CPN (MC) Chairman said that his party is progressing in the third phase of local level elections as compared to the first and second phases of local polls.
