House collapses killing 1, leaving 2 injured in Dailekh

A woman was killed and other two were injured when a house collapsed due to incessant rain at Narayan Municipality in Dailekh district on Thursday night.
According o the police, the house belonging to one Resham Thapa in front of Thribhuvan Secondary School at Dailekh headquarters collapsed killing Deepa Chand, 45, of Jufiya of Narayan Municipality-11 and injuring Bindu Shahi, 25 and her 12-year-old daughter Muna Shahi.
The injured are receiving medical treatment at District Health Office, informed Dr Anil Kharel.
Likewise, six houses in the vicinity of Naya Bazar in Narayan Municipality-1 have also been destroyed by the continuous downpour. However, there have been no reports of human casualties.
