Expedite construction of Narayangadh-Muglin road section on war footing: PM Deuba

PM Deuba, who arrived here in Chitwan on a helicopter, took stock of the construction work from stakeholders related to the upgradation of the road section at Dasdhunga. He directed the concerned authorities to expedite the construction process on a war footing, saying that the Narayangadh-Muglin road section was the ‘life line’ of the nation.

The Prime Minister first conducted an aerial survey and a field inspection of the under construction road section, informed Narayangadh-Muglin road construction project office.
Likewise, PM Deuba said that the government is ready to facilitate budget, among other necessary things, to complete the upgradation works at the earliest.

PM Deuba was accompanied by Physical Infrastructure and transport Minister Bir Bahadur Baliyar, ministry officials and security personnel.
Likewise, project chief Chandra Narayan Yadav briefed PM Deuba, after completing the 12 km field inspection, about the progress of the project.
The project claims to have completed 52 percent works in the under construction 31.5km road section. However, only 5 km of the newly constructed road has been blacktopped.
