The CPN-UML has finalised names of chief and deputy chief for District Coordination Committees in 14 districts.  

A Standing Committee meeting of the party convened at Chairman KP Sharma Oli’s residence in Balkot, Bhaktapur, on Sunday finalised the names for chiefs and deputy chiefs based on the recommendation made by district committee and provincial committee.

Likewise, the Province3 coordinator Asta Laxmi Shakya has been tasked with the responsibility to finalise the names recommended from Kavrepalanchok district. Shakya will hold consultations with district leadership and central chairman before finalising the names.

A meeting of the party Standing Committee will be held on Monday to discuss the national politics and current issues and finalise the candidates of additional districts.
