Truck plunges into Trishuli River, 2 missing

Two persons have been reported missing after a truck fell into the Trishuli River at Gajuri Rural Municipality-2 along the Prithvi Highway on Thursday.
According to District traffic Police Office, Gajuri Inspector Krishna Raj Sapkota, truck driver Sagar Damai, 23, and conductor Bhoj Raj Thapaliya, 21, of Siddhalekh Kumpur, Dhading have been missing after the truck, Ba 4 Kha 5146, plunged some 40 metres into the river this morning.
Inspector Sapkota informed that a team of Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and locals have initiated a search for the vehicle and the missing persons.
