The lockout enforced by the Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha (SLMM) at the District Coordination Committee has been opened after 11 days on Tuesday.
The SLMM leaders and activists had padlocked the DCC, Mahottari office on March 24 to protest against the local level restructuring, affecting the works at each section of the DCC.
The lock was removed with the help of police on Tuesday, local development officer at the DCC, Yubraj Poudel, said. He said the padlock had to be broken as this was hampering the day-to-day works of the people. RSS
