Cadres of Naya Shakti Nepal (NSN) on Tuesday staged a demonstration in Rajbiraj, the headquarters of Saptari district, demanding resignations of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Bimalendra Nidhi.
Local leaders and cadres of Baburam Bhattarai-led party staged demonstration in protest against the death of Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha cadres.
They have also demanded martyr status to the deceased, compensation to their family members and treatment to those injured in Monday’s clash.
Three persons lost their lives in police action after the cadres of agitating Madhesi Morcha tried to disrupt the main opposition CPN-UML’s mass meeting at Maleth in the district on Monday.
