Close to 300k families sign housing aid deal

The government started signing aid agreements with the households from the 14 district most affected by the quake in April this year.
A total of 533,1555 households from 12 districts, including 1,218 households from Lalitpur of the Kathmandu Valley, have been identified as the beneficiaries to receive the first tranche of Rs 50,000 of the total Rs 200,000.
Reassessment of the damage caused to the households in three districts in the Kathmandu Valley is underway.
The NRA’s district level offices have received 111,725 complaints that these households have not been included in the list of beneficiaries.
