Slaughtering animals in mass is not a good thing from the view point of the environment as well.
Advocate Arjun Kumar Aryal had, on 20 November 2014, filed a writ petition demanding the animal slaughter be stopped at Gadhimai. In the petition, the Office of the Prime Minister and the Gadhimai Temple Management Committee were named as the defendants. RSS
