A husband killed his wife with the use of sharp-edged weapon in Kavre on Saturday night.
Ram Sharan Thapa, 34, of Panauti municipality-13 of Kavre district took the life of his wife Samjhana Thapa, 28, with the use of a sickle and an axe, confirmed DSP at District Police Office, Dhulikhel, Nabin Raj Rai.
The husband is said to have used sickle and axe to slain his wife, shared DSP Rai who reached the site this morning immediately after the locals informed him of the incident.
Police arrested Thapa involved in the murder incident from his house. He has two sons.
Police have initiated investigation into the killing on suspect that it might have occurred due to home affairs. RSS
