Female officers man police station in Makwanpur
Bhutandevi Police Station at Hetauda-10 in Makwanpur district has been run by women officers for the first time. It is the only station run by female police officers in the central development region.

Bhutandevi Police Station at Hetauda-10 in Makwanpur district has been run by women officers for the first time. It is the only station run by female police officers in the central development region.
The station with nine female police officers is headed by Assistant Sub-inspector (ASI) Dil Kumari Kafle. Inaugurating the police station on Thursday, DIG of Police Devendra Subedi believed the female police officers will not compromise in any kind of unlawful activities. Out of 586 police staffers in the district, 62 are women officers. Superintendent of Police Meera Chaudhary expressed hope that the women officers will put in the best performance among all stations in the district.
ASI Kafle said they will be alert in maintaining peace and security in the area that has around 7,000 population.
