The general strike called by the CPN Maoist today has affected normal life in the district. The educational institutions and market are closed since early this morning due to the banda. 

The party cadres have vandalised a truck (Lu 1 Kha 7881) and have impounded two other trucks at Gaidakot today. The truck was heading to Tamghas from Gaidakot carrying poultry feed, it is learnt. 

The banda (general strike) enforcers have targeted the vehicles that were defying the banda in the areas. The strike has been called in protest against the border blockade imposed by India. RSS
