Around sixty-five per cent of the construction of physical infrastructure for the project including a tunnel, dam site power house and power transmission line has been completed. The Mount Kailash Energy Company Private Limited has been granted the contract for developing the project with a capacity of generating 13.6 megawatt of electricity.
The run-off-river type project is going to be developed with complete domestic investment. It is estimated to cost Rs 2.13 billion and expected to complete by within the next one year, company executive chairman Bharat Khadka said.
