The government has appointed Dirgha Rawal as the deputy governor of Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB).
A Cabinet meeting on Wednesday decided to promote Rawal to the central bank’s leadership role.
Rawal was serving as the executive director heading the Bank Supervision Department at NRB.
He brings two decades of central banking experience to the post, having previously held senior roles across multiple key divisions within the institution.
