Nepse slips over 10 points as turnover declines
Out of the traded companies, 89 saw their share prices rise, while 159 recorded losses.

The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) fell by 10.50 points on Wednesday, closing at 2,785.74.
The benchmark index dropped after edging down by 0.37 points in the previous session, with declines in the banking, hotels and tourism, hydropower, investment, life insurance, manufacturing and processing, microfinance, non-life insurance, and trading sub-indices. Gains in the remaining sectors were too modest to offset the overall fall.
Out of the traded companies, 89 saw their share prices rise, while 159 recorded losses.
A total of 15.85 million shares were traded in 70,099 transactions, generating a turnover of Rs6.16 billion—lower than Tuesday’s Rs6.91 billion from 17.67 million shares in 78,226 transactions.
