NEPSE climbs nearly 29 points as turnover crosses Rs7 billion
Index rises for third straight session, with 217 stocks gaining and trading volume surging past Rs7.03 billion.

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index extended its upward momentum on Tuesday, gaining 28.91 points to close at 2,660.39. This marks a 1.09 percent rise from the previous trading day and the third consecutive session of growth.
Investor activity remained strong, with 70,214 transactions carried out involving 15,764,001 shares. The total turnover reached Rs7.03 billion, up from Monday’s Rs6.38 billion, indicating renewed investor interest.
Out of the traded companies, 217 recorded gains while only 31 saw a decline, highlighting a bullish market sentiment.
