Post Report
Hotel Yak & Yeti, as part of their Christmas ritual, decorated the gingerbread house, cut cookies and inaugurated the ‘Wish Tree’. The wish tree was inaugurated to support the wishes of under-privileged children this festive season. The hotel team had asked for the wishes of the children from the “Future Hope Nepal Children’s Home”, which were printed in individual cards with their names and photos and hung in the wish tree. Any guests can take the honour to fulfil the wish of these children by looking at their wish on the wish tree. After Christmas, the children will be invited for lunch at Hotel Yak & Yeti and their gifts will be distributed to them, reads the press release issued by the hotel.
This year, the event was attended by many dignitaries, corporate and media personalities. General Manger of Hotel Yak & Yeti – Monika Scheiblauer was also part of the event along with the hotel team to host a successful event.
The activity of decorating a freshly baked gingerbread house using frosting, candies and chocolate cookies allowed the guests to revive the kids in them. Delegates were given a set of exclusive apron and chef’s hat and the gingerbread house to decorate.
