After launching the much-anticipated Mahindra KUV 100 in April, Agni Incorporated, authorised distributor of Mahindra vehicles in Nepal, has unveiled three new variants of the TUV 300 SUV.
After launching the much-anticipated Mahindra KUV 100 in April, Agni Incorporated, authorised distributor of Mahindra vehicles in Nepal, has unveiled three new variants of the TUV 300 SUV.
Designed in-house and built on an all-new platform, the design of the TUV 300 is inspired by a battle tank which gives it a tough, bold and stylish character, the company said in a statement.
“The TUV 300 has been launched keeping in mind the growing demand for compact SUVs and to provide an ideal off-road vehicle for Nepali travel enthusiasts,” said Bardan Basnet, general manager of Agni Incorporated.
“The TUV 300 is ideal for driving in rough terrains of Nepal and the price is well under affordable range. The KUV 100 also got a good response and we hope TUV 300 will surpass all expectations.”
The vehicle is powered by the advanced 1.5 litre mHawk80 diesel engine with a 2-stageturbocharger that delivers 61.5 kW (84ps) and 230Nm of torque. It comes with an auto-shift Automated Manual Transmission Technology (AMT) an offers a mileage of 18.49kmpl, according to the company.
The TUV 300 has a Third Generation chassis derived from new generation Scorpio with high torsion stiffness, high-strength steel body shell, strong side intrusion beams for all-round impact protection, dual airbags and Corner Brake Control.
The three variants—T4, T6+, and T8—are available in Nepal in five shades of Verve Blue, Dynamite Red, Glacier White, Majestic Silver and Bold Black. The prices start from Rs3.89 million.
Meanwhile, CG Motocorp plans to launch the Suzuki Vitara Brezza, a compact SUV, soon. The car features smart play infotainment system with Apple Car Play, cruise control, anti pinch guard power window. It is powered by a 1248cc diesel engine that develops 88.5pc power and 200Nm of torque.
“The new model in SUV segment will help us consolidate our strong presence in the market. It is sure to create excitement among customers as it offers the latest innovation from Suzuki,” said Siraj Panta, deputy general manager of sales and marketing at CG Motocorp.
