Arrest warrant against Chand

Nepal Police on Wednesday issued an arrest warrant against Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) General Secretary Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplab’. Chand has been charged with multiple bomb explosions and murder.
The warrant was issued following an order from Bhojpur Distirct Court, asking police to produce absconding Chand before the court within 70 days for recording his statement. Various complaints were lodged at Bhojpur District Court against Chand for his alleged involvement in violent activities.
