A hotel owner has been arrested for his alleged involvement in the murder of a guest in Birendranagar, Surkhet, on Friday.

The suspect has been identified as Devi Prasad Dhakal owner of Mama-Bhanja Hotel at Sanihal Line in Birandranagar-6.

Dhakal is accused of killing Ratan Shahi of Kalikot Tilagufa Municipality-11 by attacking with an axe.

According to a preliminary investigation, Dahal was under the influence of alcohol with the incident occurred, said SP Mohan Acharya of the District Police Office, Surkhet. RSS
