Two persons have died and many others taken ill of diarrhoea at Maharajgunj Municipality-7 in the district. The diarrhoeal disease has spread in the settlement affected by the recent floods since Thursday.

According to Dr Rahul Jha at Shivaraj Hospital, Shanti Devi Chamar, 35, and eight-year-old Rares Raidas died of diarrhoea.

About 250 people fell ill at the Sattabhara and Gangaudi settlements in Maharajgunj-7. (PR)
