An international conference on ‘Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF)’ kicked off in the Capital on Wednesday.
The two-day event, jointly organised by the Nepal Rescue and Fire Fighters’ Association and the ARFF America, under the slogan ‘Aviation Growth, Challenge and ARFF Dynamics’ has drawn around 250 pilots, fire fighters and engineers from Nepal, the US, Sweden, Denmark, India, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Canada and South Sudan.
The participants will be holding discussions on ways to ensure safe, reliable and effective air service.
