Chinese vice premier pays courtesy call on President Bhandari

During the meeting, the President expressed happiness over the excellent state of bilateral relations between Nepal and China. The President also expressed satisfaction over the ongoing mutual cooperation in various fields between the two countries.
Earlier today, the Vice Premier also paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba at his residence in Baluwatar.
The Prime Minister stated about the excellent state of bilateral relations subsisting between the two countries and growing economic engagements in various fields. He stressed the need of enhanced level of cooperation in the fields of trade, tourism, investment, infrastructure development, among others. The Prime Minister also reiterated the commitment of the Nepal for the implementation of agreements reached between the two countries in the past.
In both calls, the Vice Premier appreciated Nepal’s One China Policy. He assured of continued Chinese support and cooperation to the socio-economic development efforts of Nepal, according to a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
