The 3rd National Summit of Health and Population Scientists in Nepal is kicking off on Monday.
According to Nepal Health Research Council, the three-day conference will discuss on the theme, Health in sustainable development: Are we on track?, where 63 scientific papers will be presented.
“The first day of the conference will discuss on the role of sustainable development and health. The second day will see presentations on eight topics related to non-communicable diseases, nutrition, environment and occupation health, mental health and health systems, among others,” said Dr Anjani Kumar Jha, the council’s executive chairman.
Five foreign researches and 186 Nepali researchers will discuss on their projects. (PR)
