A group of Indian people attacked some locals at Chandani Municipality-10 in Kanchanpur on Saturday, police said.
Police Inspector Birendra BK, the in charge of Area Police Office in Dodhara, said four locals were injured in the attack carried out by around 10 men from Pilibhit district in Uttarakhand state of India.
The injured were taken to Dodhara Health Post for treatment.
BK said the Indian men attacked the Chandani locals after police filed a case against the Indian national, Sarad Raya, who had attempted to rape a local woman four days ago. The attackers fled after the incident.
