A meeting of the committee held on Sunday, showing concerns regarding the disruption of the MBBS classes, directed IOM and NOC to address problems seen in the college, as prolonged halt of teaching classes has posed a threat to future of some 317 students pursuing the MBBS degree at the college.
The meeting further decided to recommend punitive action against college founders, ensure compensation to the victim students, and to form a five–member committee to carry out study about problems seen in granting affiliation to run medical colleges and processes in the operation.
The MBBS classes at the college have remained closed for the past ten months.
Committee President Sushil Kumar Shrestha chaired the meeting. RSS
