According to the District Public Health Office, Jajarkot, among the deceased are Badi Tamata, 50, of Archani VDC-2; Hansa Bahadur Tamata, 58, of Archani VDC-7 and two-year-old Ritu Tamata of Archani VDC-4. They are learnt to have died in course of the treatment.
Due to the lack of adequate health workers in various local health posts in the district, locals have been facing inconvenience for availing the health services.
Of the total 235 appointments of the health workers of various capacities, only 174 health workers are found to be currently rendering the service in the locality. The posts of two medical officers for the district is also still vacant.
