PM Koirala said that he has made repeated efforts for the dialogues and added that the problem could be ended through consensus and unity. He further said that they would soon hold a dialogue to end the deadlock, expressing confidence that the opposition parties would be ready for the same.
Following the meeting, UCPN (M) Chair Dahal said that the meeting was positive and the government should exercise more to formalise the dialogues.
Dahal informed that he held the dialogue as an opposition leader but not from the side of 30-party alliance. However, it has created positive environment for further talks, he added.
Chairman Dahal said that the postponement of the Constituent Assembly (CA) meeting and initiation of the PM for dialogue were positive steps.
The meeting is expected to create trustworthy environment for further dialogues among the political parties as the talks among them has been on halt for a long time after the formulation of Questionnaire Committee by the CA.
