Jhapa-11 have lifted the title of ANFA Cup beating Sankata Club 4-0 in the final game played at the Dashrath Stadium in Tripureshwor in the Capital on Wednesday.

Jhapa-11 took the lead in the 43rd minute with Nagendra Limbu’s goal while they doubled their lead in the 76th minute of the second half. Karna Limbu scored the second goal for Jhapa-11.
Bikash Rai made it 3-0 with his strike in the 86th minute before Buddha Chemjong sealed the game for his team in the 88th minute with a wonderful goal.
With the title, Jhapa-11 have pocketed Rs. 1 million as the cash prize while Sankata had to settle with Rs. 5,00,000.
Minister for Youth and Sports Purushottam Poudel, member secretary of National Sports Council Yubaraj Lama and other ANFA officials handed over the cash prize and trophy to both the teams.
