A man died in a motorcycle accident at Patarasi Rural Municipality-5 in Jumla district on Sunday.
According to the police, the 29-year-old motorcyclist lost control of the vehicle and fell some 75 metres down the narrow rural road, injuring him seriously.
The man succumbed to injuries on his way to the Karnali Academy of Health Sciences for treatment, said Umesh Chand, information officer at the Jumla District Police Office.
Police have impounded the vehicle.
