Nepal reports 74 new Covid-19 cases
According to the ministry, 985,720 infected people have recovered from the disease so far. The number of active cases stands at 1,619.Post Report
Nepal on Tuesday reported 39 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 999,355.
Similarly, 35 people tested positive in a total of 1,977 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Tuesday, 5,925,000 PCR and 1,400,522 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 1,535 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 12,016 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 985,720 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 160 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 1,619.
In the past 24 hours, four new infections were reported in Province 1, one in Madhes Province, 23 in Bagmati, three in Gandaki and eight in Lumbini.
Nepal on Monday reported 75 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 25 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Sunday and 35 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Saturday.
