Nepal reports 59 new Covid-19 cases
According to the ministry, 985,395 infected people have recovered from the disease so far. The number of active cases stands at 1,830.Post Report
Nepal on Sunday reported 25 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 999,241.
Similarly, 34 people tested positive in a total of 1,129 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Sunday, 5,920,977 PCR and 1,397,109 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 1,753 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 12,016 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 985,395 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 161 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 1,830.
In the past 24 hours, two new infections were reported in Province 1, one in Madhes Province, 14 in Bagmati, two in Gandaki, three in Lumbini, one in Karnali and two in Sudurpaschim.
Nepal on Saturday reported 35 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 60 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and one death were recorded on Friday and 75 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Thursday.
