Nepal reports 286 new Covid-19 cases
According to the Health Ministry, 978,901 infected people have recovered from the disease so far. The number of active cases stands at 4,348.Post Report
Nepal on Sunday reported 202 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 995,241.
Similarly, 84 people tested positive in a total of 1,607 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Sunday, 5,870,415 PCR and 1,335,411 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 1,816 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,992 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 978,901 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 479 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 4,384.
In the past 24 hours, 15 new infections were reported in Province 1, five in Madhes Province, 146 in Bagmati, 19 in Gandaki, 16 in Lumbini, and one in Sudurpaschim.
Nepal on Saturday reported 180 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and two deaths. Similarly, 246 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Friday and 224 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Thursday.
