Nepal reports 299 new Covid-19 cases
Two new deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. Number of active cases stands at 4,625.Post Report
Nepal on Saturday reported 180 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 995,039.
Similarly, 119 people tested positive in a total of 2,667 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Saturday, 5,868,599 PCR and 1,333,804 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 1,670 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country reported two Covid-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,992 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 978,422 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 577 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 4,625.
In the past 24 hours, seven new infections were reported in Province 1, four in Madhes Province, 125 in Bagmati, 12 in Gandaki, five in Lumbini, one in Karnali and 26 in Sudurpaschim.
Nepal on Friday reported 246 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 224 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Thursday and 531 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and one death were reported on Wednesday.
