Nepal reports 335 new Covid-19 cases

Nepal on Saturday reported 216 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 983,319.
Similarly, 119 people tested positive in a total of 1,908 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Saturday, 5,796,699 PCR and 1,262,894 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 1,088 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,954 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 968,394 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 86 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 2,971.
In the past 24 hours, 23 new infections were reported in Province 1, 16 in Madhes Province, 161 in Bagmati, 12 in Gandaki and four in Lumbini.
Nepal on Friday reported 384 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 317 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Thursday and 340 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Wednesday.
