Nepal reports 357 new Covid-19 cases
The number of active cases stands at 1,982.Post Report
Nepal on Tuesday reported 268 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 982,062.
Similarly, 89 people tested positive in a total of 1,500 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Tuesday, 5,789,214 PCR and 1,255,995 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 1,857 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,954 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 968,126 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 62 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 1,982.
In the past 24 hours, 43 new infections were reported in Province 1, four in Madhes Province, 174 in Bagmati, 29 in Gandaki, 12 in Lumbini, one in Karnali and five in Sudurpaschim.
Nepal on Monday reported 386 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 114 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Sunday and 152 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Saturday.
