Nepal reports 205 new Covid-19 cases
The number of active cases stands at 1,385.Post Report
Nepal on Saturday reported 152 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 981,294.
Similarly, 53 people tested positive in a total of 1,891 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Saturday, 5,783,543 PCR and 1,250,617 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 1,199 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,952 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 967,957 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 51 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 1,385.
In the past 24 hours, eight new infections were reported in Province 1, 18 in Madhes Province, 111 in Bagmati, 10 in Gandaki and five in Lumbini.
Nepal on Friday reported 161 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 214 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Thursday and 177 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Wednesday.
