Nepal reports 206 new Covid-19 cases

Nepal on Wednesday reported 177 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 980,767.
Similarly, 29 people tested positive in a total of 1,093 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Wednesday, 5,778,673 PCR and 1,244,835 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 2,082 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,952 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 967,810 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 45 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 1,005.
In the past 24 hours, 12 new infections were reported in Province 1, two in Madhes Province, 150 in Bagmati, three in Gandaki, five in Lumbini and five in Sudurpaschim.
Nepal on Tuesday reported 177 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 129 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Monday and 104 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Sunday.
