Nepal reports 21 new Covid-19 cases

Nepal on Thursday reported 14 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 979,105.
Similarly, seven people tested positive in a total of 1,603 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Thursday, 5,693,647 PCR and 1,190,708 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 2,025 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,952 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 967,024 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; nine of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 129.
In the past 24 hours, one new infection was reported in Province 1, two in Madhes Province, nine in Bagmati and two in Gandaki.
Nepal on Wednesday reported four new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 11 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Tuesday and eight new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Monday.
