Nepal reports 16 new Covid-19 cases
According to the Health Ministry, 967,002 infected people have recovered from the disease so far and the number of active cases stands at 133.Post Report
Nepal on Tuesday reported 11 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 979,087.
Similarly, five people tested positive in a total of 922 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Tuesday, 5,689,733 PCR and 1,188,277 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 1,998 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,952 since the pandemic began.

In the past 24 hours, one new infection was reported in Madhes Province, nine in Bagmati and one in Gandaki.
Nepal on Monday reported eight new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, six new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Sunday and 11 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Saturday.
