Nepal reports 19 new Covid-19 cases

Nepal on Wednesday reported 19 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 978,884.
All 1,448 antigen tests returned negative results, according to the Health Ministry’s daily situation report.
As of Wednesday, 5,646,021 PCR and 1,171,980 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 2,373 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country reported one Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,952 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 966,715 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 18 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 217.
In the past 24 hours, 12 new infections were recorded in Bagmati, three in Gandaki and two each in Province 1 and Sudurpaschim.
Nepal on Tuesday reported 29 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, eight new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Monday and 18 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Sunday.
