Nepal reports 20 new Covid-19 cases
According to the Health Ministry, 966,656 infected people have recovered from the disease so far and the number of active cases stands at 221.Post Report
Nepal on Sunday reported 18 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 978,828.
Similarly, two people tested positive in a total of 714 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Sunday, 5,638,811 PCR and 1,168,020 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 2,508 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,951 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 966,656 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 27 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 221.
In the past 24 hours, one infection each was recorded in Province 1, Madesh and Karnali; and 15 in Bagmati.
Nepal on Saturday reported four new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 13 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Friday and 15 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Thursday.
