Nepal logs 42 new Covid-19 cases
According to the Health Ministry, 965,228 infected people have recovered from the disease so far and the number of active cases stands at 1,198.Post Report
Nepal on Tuesday reported 30 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 978,377.
Similarly, 12 people tested positive in a total of 1,149 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Tuesday, 5,538,827 PCR and 1,124,333 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 4,322 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,951 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 965,228 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 86 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 1,198.
Kathmandu Valley recorded seven–three in Kathmandu and four in Lalitpur–new infections in the past 24 hours.
In the past 24 hours, nine new infections were recorded in Province 1, four in Madhesh, nine in Bagmati, two in Gandaki, two in Lumbini and four in Sudurpaschim.
On Tuesday, 20 individuals infected with the virus were being treated in intensive care units across the country. Another three– one in Province 1 and two in Bagmati– were on ventilator support.
Nepal on Monday reported 15 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 15 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Sunday and eight new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Saturday.
