National Covid-19 tally reaches 828,773 with 342 new infections
According to the Health Ministry, the country did not record any Covid-19 related deaths in the past 24 hours.

Nepal did not record any Covid-19 related deaths in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Health and Population said on Saturday.
The country’s overall death toll due to the Covid-19 related complications stands at 11,594.
In the past 24 hours, the ministry said, the country recorded 342 new coronavirus infections, pushing the overall infection number to 828,773.
Similarly, 40 people tested positive in a total of 15,952 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
According to the ministry, 812,210 infected people have recovered from the disease so far, 252 of them in the past 24 hours.
The active case count stands at 4,969.
Kathmandu Valley recorded 285 new infections in the past 24 hours. Of them, 244 cases were confirmed in Kathmandu, 32 in Lalitpur and nine in Bhaktapur.
In the past 24 hours, 10 new infections were recorded in Province 1, seven in Province 2, 301 in Bagmati Province, 10 in Gandaki, 10 in Lumbini and four in Sudurpaschim.
As of Saturday, 4,864,362 PCR and 829,950 antigen tests have been carried out across the country. A total of 5,007 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the data released by the ministry.
Eighty-nine individuals infected with the virus were being treated in intensive care units across the country on Thursday. Another 27—three in Province 1 and 23 in Bagmati and one in Lumbini—were on ventilator support.
Nepal on Friday reported 224 new coronavirus cases and four deaths. Similarly, 235 new coronavirus cases and no fatality was recorded on Thursday and 209 new coronavirus cases and two deaths were recorded on Wednesday.
